英語ブラッシュアップ研修「TOKYO GLOBAL GATEWAY」報告
On Wednesday, February 4th, thirty motivated students joined a morning English program at Tokyo Global Gateway in Odaiba.
Students were split into intermediate and advanced levels and participated in a variety of activities throughout the morning.
Intermediate students created a news report and were able to use a real green screen and video equipment to record their original stories.
Advanced students practiced introducing Japanese cultural items like furoshiki in a Japanese-style room.
The latter part of the program involved students role-playing in various facilities such as a clinic, restaurant, and travel agency with foreign instructors.
2月4日（水）、有志30名の生徒が、お台場の東京グローバルゲートウェイで行われた英語プログラムに参加しました。
生徒は中級レベルと上級レベルに分かれ、様々なアクティビティに参加しました。
中級クラスでは、ニュースレポートを作成し実際のグリーンスクリーンとビデオ機材を使ってオリジナルのストーリーを収録しました。
上級クラスでは、和室で「風呂敷」などの日本文化を英語で紹介する練習をしました。
プログラム後半では、クリニック・レストラン・旅行代理店など、様々な施設で外国人スタッフによるロールプレイングを行いました。
The students enjoyed engaging in different speaking and team-building activities and challenged themselves to communicate in an all-English environment.
They were able to imagine themselves in various situations and expressed themselves in English while collaborating with peers from different classes and grades.
It was a great chance to experience the global world while still in Tokyo.
We hope this experience inspires students to participate in our international programs in the future.
生徒たちは、様々なスピーキングやチームビルディングのアクティビティに楽しく参加し、オールイングリッシュの環境でのコミュニケーションに挑戦しました。
様々な状況を想定し、クラスや学年の異なる仲間と協力しながら、英語で自己表現することができました。
東京にいながらグローバルな世界を体験できる素晴らしい機会でした。
この経験が、生徒たちの将来的な国際プログラムへの参加意欲を高めるきっかけになることを願っています。
